Veterinary Technician

JOB DETAILS:As a veterinary technician, you are a key member of the team providing support to the veterinarian and front office staff to meet the needs of our clients and patients. Our ideal candidate is someone who has anesthesia and surgical experience, maintains a high standard of patient care, is able to multi-task, and can communicate effectively with clients, doctors, and other team members.
TYPICAL DUTIES: venipuncture, restraint, lab collection, and processing, surgery, anesthesia, dental procedures, client education- all typical technician duties. We all wear multiple hats around the hospital and we would love someone who is not afraid to jump in wherever and help when needed.

Veterinary Assistant
SouthPark Animal Clinic is seeking a full-time veterinary assistant with at least 2 years of veterinary assistant experience to join our growing team.

JOB DETAILS: As a veterinary assistant, you are a key member of the team providing support to the veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and front office staff to meet the needs of our clients and patients. Typical duties include obtaining samples and setting up for laboratory procedures, client communication, and education, performing medical procedures and treatments, ensuring medications are filled and explained to clients, operation, and maintenance of instruments and equipment, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, assisting in radiology, answering phones, help with scheduling appointments, and cleaning and maintenance of the hospital.
Position Requirements:
2+ years experience working as Veterinary Assistant
Experience with animal restraint
Comfortable around all types of animals
Superior customer service skills
Attention to detail
